Who is Tonya Harding?
Tonya Harding was born in 12th November 1970 at Portland Oregon. She is popular former champion in American figure skating. At 1991, Tonya won 2nd in the World Championships and was placed as US Figure Skating Championships. Tonya Harding is the second woman and the first American to finish a triple axel jump. However, her fame turned into complete disaster after the sex tape scandal. Tonya Harding accuses her ex-husband for ruining her career and reputation.
Early Life!
Tonya had a rough childhood. She accused her mother for physical abuse, and recalled that her father had some health problems and very often worked. In her early childhood she learned skating. At the age of twelve she landed her first triple lutz. Tonya’s mother made her several stylish skating outfits. Tonya Harding dropped out from high school due to her busy schedule of skating. She learned GED and latter began international skating assignments. In 1990, during her junior high at the age of 19 she got married to Jeff Gillooly. She got divorced at the age of 22.
Skating Career!
Tonya’s real skating career at the middle of 1980’s as she started climbing her success ladder. In 1986 she won 6th position in the US skating championship. Till 1990 she became tough competitor in US Figure Skating Championships. In 1991 Tonya Harding got her initial breakthrough, she won and was placed 1st in first triple axel US Championships.
