Who does the voice of Bart Simpson?
One of the most popular animated television series are The Simpsons. The Simpsons are eponymous family and Bart Simpson is a part of it. He has a father Homer and mother Marge and two sisters Lisa and Maggie. Bart had his first appearance on April 19, 1987 in The Tracey Ullman Show short “Good Night”. The creator of Bart is Matt Groening, cartoonist, he designed and created this character while he was waiting in the lobby James L. Brooks’ office.

Nancy Campbell Cartwright is an American film and television actress, comedian and voice artist. But, despite Bart’s fame she is rarely recognized in public. During the first season of the Simpsons Cartwright was not allowed to give interviews because the Fox Network did not want to publicize that Bart was voiced by a woman. For her subsequent work as Bart, Cartwright received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance in 1992 and also an Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in 1995.
Even some parents think that character of Bart Simpson is a bad role model for children; Bart remained one of the most prominent characters on the series. There are many songs, video games, comic books, T-shirts and commercials inspired by Bart Simpson.
His popularity is crowned with many awards. In 2000 Bart was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was named one of the 100 most important people of the 20th century, by the Time.
