Who discovered Jupiter?
It is unknown who discovered Jupiter. Main reason is that Jupiter is visible from Earth at night without using any optical device such as telescope or binoculars, which means that Jupiter is known by different civilization thousands years ago.
Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System and the fifth planet from the Sun. Jupiter is gas giant such as Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. All together they are called Jovian planets. It has 63 known moons with the four large one which are discovered by Galileo Galilei.
