Which Breed Of Mastiff Is The Largest?

According to the American Kennel Club answer to the question posed in the title is „The English mastiff“.

This breed of dog is also familiar as the Old English mastiff.

Some physical characteristics of English mastiffs are:

Height:   male – 30 inches and up or 76 cm

female – 27 inches and up or 69 cm
Weight:  male – about 160 -  250 pounds or 72kg

female – about 150 – 200 pounds or 68kg

In the Guinness Book of World Records, title of The Largest dog on the World, ever, has an English Mastiff named Zorba. In 1989 Zorba’s weight was 343 pounds and was 8 feet 3 inches long, from nose to tail.
