Which Blood Type Is Rare?

Even before person is born its blood type is established because it represents combination of parent’s genes. Blood type or blood group is determinate by antigens A, B or O presence in blood and Rh +/- factor so there is following types: 0 +/-, A +/-, B +/- and AB +/- .
Frequency of certain blood type varies depends on racial and ethnic affiliation but it seems that the rarest blood type is AB -. This blood type has about 1-3% of population.
Interesting is that there are several new, exotic types developed. The rarest of the rare types is so called Bombay blood (hh). It is discovered in Bombay 1950 and only 1 of 250 000 people has it.
