Where Is The Leaning Tower Of Pisa Located?

Torre pendente di Pisa or The Tower of Pisa is a remarkable piece of art. It’s also known as The Bell Tower of Saint Mary. Althought  it wasn’t planned to lean, after the construction of its third floor the Tower started to sink to the southeast. Interesting, it is now leant to the southwest.

Location of The Tower of Pisa is in city of Pisa in Tuscany region, Italy. More accurately in Pisa’s Cathedral Square (in Italian: Piazza del Duomo , also known as Piazza dei Miracoli  )

Coordinates:  43°43?23?N 10°23?47?E

It was built in three phases, during a period of about 177 years, started in 1173 finished in 1350. Its height varies over time for leaning of the Tower, 0.05 inches per year.
