What does it mean to be physically healthy?To be physically healthy is to be in sound shape free of injuries and diseases. The physical health of a living being is the state in which its body is functioning. The better and smoother is the functioning, the higher is the physical health. The body has a chain of continuous activities ongoing at any time. To keep them going as per their design is to be physically healthy. One must also ensure that the body is capable of healing itself from damage caused by way of attacks from the forces of nature or by living beings. However the body can have impairments that are inborn but it can still function normally otherwise.

In order to be physically healthy, one must take adequate care of the body. Wholesome food that includes the right balance of nutrients ensures that there is fuel provided to the body to carry on its operations hassle-free. Any imbalances might lead to improper functioning or a decrease in the body’s ability to fight diseases. It can also lead to obesity and in some cases it also affects the mental state. Exercise is important since it keeps the body’s parts well-oiled and burns excess calories. Finally adequate sleep and a relaxed mind keeps the body in a good condition and healthy.
