Which finger does a girl wear a promise ring?

Generally promise ring is worn in left ring finger. Many people think promise ring as an official engagement ring, but it’s not true. Pre engagement rings or promise ring indicate a couple’s commitment, love and affection for each other, their friendship and eventually a promise to get married. When the couple proceeds in a relationship and decides for a commitment the girl wears the promise ring presented by the boy friend in her left ring finger. On the declaration of engagement the promise finger is moved in right ring finger and replaced with the engagement ring. Several girls get confused in promise ring and wear it in their right ring finger though usually it is conventionally worn in left ring finger.
