Will Lexus do a zero percent financing?

To counter the effects of the credit dryness, top auto makers are coming up with various incentives to offer the customers what they think it will revive flagging sales.

Zero percent financing is one such option offered to those who do not have a lot of cash on hand. For those who are willing to pay full upfront, manufacturers are giving a discount on the price.

Toyota is one of the top automobile manufacturers and is facing a sharp decrease in its sales. Days when one couldn’t get any discounts on the tag price are gone. However even Toyota is witnessing the repercussions of the credit crunch and is having problems clearing its inventory. Hence it has decided to offer zero percent financing on eleven models for term period ranging from 3 years to 5 years. However, the Lexus brand is not included in this list and there is no indication if it will be in the future.
