Where Does Biomass Come From?

Biomass refers to biological degradable materials which emerge in agriculture and animal husbandry and as components of industry and town waste.

It comes from organic material such as dead plant, wood, leaves, food scraps, agricultural crops and residue, animal feces etc.

Basically burning that material extracts energy locked inside which can be used for different purposes. It is used mostly as one of the renewable sources of energy and as such produces less pollution than other energy sources.

Solid or liquid fuel, building material, fabrics, paper and else can be produced from biomass.

Biomass becomes highly appreciated for its characteristics and wide range of uses.
