Obesity is one of biggest killers of modern day. It brings with it a myriad of problems and it is absolutely necessary to counter this by various means. Exercise and diet control are what is highly recommended to reduce weight and to get back to shape. However for those who cannot control their diet or who are not experiencing results with exercise, there are medications such as the Adipex pill that help them out. Adipex is one of the brand names given to the generic drug Phentermine. It works on the Central Nervous System and reduces the hunger pangs in us. It works best along with diet control and exercise.
Its effect works miraculously quickly in the initial weeks and its effects can be seen wearing off with time. The effects are different on different people and so the amount of weight lost in one can vary from that lost in another. However the most weight loss happens in the first few weeks. Hence it is recommended that it should be used only for about 3 months. However there have been exceptions in certain people who have witnessed benefits for much longer as well. With prolonged usage, one runs the risk of getting addicted to it and so one must have adequate consultation with a doctor before and during its usage.
